Policy Change: The Flakk Baton 2

Greetings and Lamentations, I AM Lord Malignance and you WILL Crouch! before me Now!
(Villains excepted of course).

One took the Mighty Flakk Baton and returned it to the White Skull. It should be pointed out to the slower readers, that in fact there is no physical object that is the "Flakk Baton" it is nothing but an imaginary device. It is a very simple metaphor for the  responsibilities left behind by the White Skull, that One carried in his absence. Now in his return, he bravely resists the desire to feel it's seductive power once more, and declines it's return. By our mutual disowning the responsibility to Protect Villainy and Support its Members, that responsibility now falls to Agent Beryllium, the DeFacto Leader of the Premier Villainous Organization R.O.A.C.H. She may acknowledge this or deny it. It is an imaginary thing.

The Flakker is dead (again). Long Live the Flakker.

One wishes Agent Beryllium every success in her new role, as responsible for her own actions and their consequences. You get to watch the sandbox, and have someone tear you down for trying to give every Villain an opportunity to be incredible.

No longer will she be able to claim that Lord Malignance is "DICTATING" by flakking her mistakes, or seeking to protect her from the consequences of her own provocations. Whether posting IPAddresses, tearing down other Villains (her friends no less) and calling her friends "nuts" or "dangerous", she is now responsible for her own actions. Class 3 supervillains - go make her proud. No longer will One point out flaws in dangerous and stupid plans.

Oneself in turn will take Agent Beryllium's lead and follow her example as she has behaved and behaves still. Readers of this blog will remember the Villainous lengths one has gone through to overlook her frequent petty attacks on Oneself, while all the time One has never retaliated, apologized for the only public insult (used only to stop her stream of lies), and even let go her attempted frame up for her own actions. When posters mention on this blog her treacherous behavior, One has deleted them previously, ever and only to protect her. One goes to other blogs to plead with their admins to remove harsh opinions. One emails detractors and entreats them to give her another chance, and to stop being provocative.

This is what Agent Beryllium has been complaining about apparently. Great Lord Malignance was too large, too prosperous, and not enough attention was going to her, therefore he must be torn down. This new direction will work out so much better, as she guides the BE Age of Villainy, all eyes can now be on her.

So it's a Victory for Villainy. It's exactly what she wants. And One gets to slack off and gossip for a change.

Note: When One says "Policy Change" it means only the policy that One operates under. It is only mentioned and suggested for others consideration if they choose to. One doesn't HAVE a Villainous Organization, and therefor actually has no one (except staff) reporting to me. One cannot be responsible for your ability to be mind controlled. It is Nice to think about though.
Wear scuba flippers exclusively and in all instances...

-Lord Malignance

By the way, in case anyone doesn't get this, One does not Demand. Oh, the Crouching yes, but that's only if One can actually SEE you. Otherwise, One makes suggestions. It's being insinuated that One is dictating and makes demands. Can anyone show me any example where One has ever made a demand? Because otherwise, it's just another lie being spread.

  1. White Skull was the best of the ROACH Straw Men. He could simultaneously uphold the very loose principles of ROACH, while kicking up enough dirt to enshroud the rest of the RLSV. I doubt Beryllium will be potent enough in her aggression to keep the position. No offense to either party.

  2. Is this you Master Calamity? One can never tell.

It's an idea that is being played out - a scheme if you will. Villains by our nature are individualistic. The drive has been in this "BE Age" to find a unity. It's not without bumps along the way though. We're finding our flaws and our weaknesses and addressing them. This is triage as it were. One can buffer for a Villainous Organization, but it IS expected that for this service, One will not be fodder for manipulations. We're Villains though, so it can happen. One thinks of it this way: "If this is a military operation, you've been accused of treason. Are you ok with that?" One thinks the proper and only reasonable response would be "I'm not ok with that". The "Tangen Supercrew" lie is one such fabrication.

One likes your analysis quite a bit though: Perhaps Villains can only group if there is a common and present foe to work against. The weakness of heroes, now causes Villains to ponder new games of intrigue.

Beryllium has her own talents though - and that's the strength of Villainy. We can change, adapt and overcome. We really don't have "Leaders" - but we DO have a Flakker - who can guide Villainy. White Skull was there at the beginning. His absence left a void, One has tried to fill. One has become polarizing and a detriment to Villainy (apparently), and so One steps back now to allow the most ruthless backstabber to step forward and assume the role. There is nothing wrong with this. It is how the strong rule.

One hopes you are doing well if this is you, and that in your absence Villainy treats your memory with respect (Master Calamity SuperVillain Challenge on Halloween),

  3. Here's a thought, Malignance: Villainy is composed of strong-willed independent thinkers who don't take direction very well, if at all.
We've known this since the beginning.

Villainy needs no leadership because, quite frankly, there were never enough of us to require it in the first place, and the big organizations such as ROACH never gave much leadership in the first place. Yet we're still here. Kind of says something about us as a whole.

Villainy wants no leadership and villainy needs no leadership; villainy never followed any leadership that was placed before it to begin with. The Flak Baton never existed in the first place to be passed on.

Villainy is far more effective as independent marauders than it could ever hope to be as a unified whole. If I were still in this game, that's the official position I'd take. However, since I'm not an official villain these days anymore, my words don't mean shit... nor should they.

  4. White Skull,

THAT is remarkable and true. Please see the most recent post, where One hopes this is clarified. One still sees your earlier role, when you were a Villain in the Field, as having been of immeasurable success and of great value. Trying to duplicate your effort has not been easy. Then again, you were beset from without, and Oneself from within.

Let us just say, that since Beryllium has a problem with my Flakking to protect Villainy, then she may take that responsibility herself. One will setup a corner in the Fourth Estate and enjoy the view. One seriously does work in Villainy other than online.

  5. It has been over a year since any posts of context. However, I do miss the game. Teaching my philosophy of obfuscation. I do appreciate the continuing of the Halloween tradition and I do read up on whats been going on. From my perspective it looks like much of the furvour has died down, and even the recent infighting seems tame.

The fact is the past year has been very good to me and I've developed a new weakness called optimism. I would love to come back, but things would be very different. The past year has changed my alter-ego for the better and damaged to potency of the Grand Master. If I were to return, I would have significantly less philosophy to teach.

  6. Well Greeted Master Calamity!

For the infighting One takes responsibility. It is contentious, but without malice. While this fighting is temporary, the Brotherhood of Evil is not. A Villain in our community is family, and One stands with fellow Villains against any. That said, sometimes we draw long knives to remind each other that we are not children.

One is gladdened by your news. Villainy has grown, and now has a new Feature known as "The Fourth Estate" - Villainy for Villains. Here you enjoy the benefits of Villainy w/out the need for Hero bashing. Many Villains in some form or another, whether acknowledged or not, spend time in pursuits of this thing we call Villainy. Think of it as "Big Sky Country". You define what it means to be Villainous and explore that.

If you were to return, One feels sure you would be welcomed. May One suggest contacting your associates in ROACH? Agent Beryllium (though you wouldn't know it from here) has One's full confidence in this matter.

However you decide, you will always have family, remain mysterious, and have your options open.

(Blog and webpage are a shambles - they're being reworked)

  7. Wait: One did it again, and somewhere Villains are crying. One should instead say that One considers the association of our Villainy as family, because One holds these members in high esteem. They have for Evil or good, shown their worthiness over time. Also, the Brotherhood of Evil may mean absolutely nothing to other Villains and may only be One's own appreciation for another's talent and character. Other Villains may not have the Evil common sense to acknowledge or Respect these things or to make an adequately responsible gesture without having someone else do it for them.

One only touched the Flakk Baton, One swears.
