Malignopalooza2026

Well, it's been 17 years of online Evil - something of an accomplishment. Seventeen Years, and the time has gone by so quickly, as it does.

One wanted to create a video - something fun, but honestly, it's too hot to get up to too much mischief. Ah, my Colorado Holdfast here on Colorado Day (150 years as a state), you're either too hot, or too cold.

There's a fun story - the Lair is constantly changing and one of the changes is that the library And the study have become buried. Can't get into the bookshelves, but the books keep coming in. Such good books! And while One does have a few books, there Are some books that can find new homes - but One can't get to them, so the new books have started to form stacks here and there and finding nooks and crannies to live. One has a new bookcase to install, which might create a pathway into the library where One could perhaps harvest out some books to move along. And of course, you'll never know what or Who you might find in odd spaces in the Lair.

AI (there Is no AI) and Robotics have developed at such an astonishing rate the fields seem to have grown completely insane and One is certain the world is at another tipping point - something along the lines of mobile phones and the Internet. Everything we know now is going to change in ways we can't yet foresee. Needless to say - crab walking Malignobots have fallen off the obsolescence cliff.

Speaking of Hot, remember the Walker Challenge - it was Melting, but One had designed a slipsuit to aid in aerodynamics. But no, cooking like a lobster.

Can't do it this year, he Lair cooling systems are not cooling sufficiently for the time One has In the Lair. Maybe another month for the weather to start cooling down.

Hoping it cools down soon (One is infamous for hoodies and cloaks).

Did One mention that Malignopalooza is a party? Yes, yes it is, and the cognac goes into a goblet as is the tradition and great fetes are attended and tributes given. So even though it's hot, there have been obligations to attend to. But for now One is tuckered out.

Two Second Test of Google's Gemini

It's too hot, and the state is on fire. What Isn't on actual fire, is within smoke. Smoke even reaches to the Lair, even though the "Aspen Acres Fire" is not actually near Aspen. You might Think "Mountain Air", but no, the smoke reaches here and the lack of meaningful ozone makes the heat of it all the more challenging. Helmet Air Filters? N-95s for protection from Covid or Measles (compromised immune system means even the Flu could take a toll and then the pathogenic bacteria awakens and finds something to eat.

One cooks like a lobster in July (Never take up challenges involving outdoor activities in July/August) and so, One hides out more often. The helmet begins to feel like a tomb and that takes some mental gymnastics to deal with. Note to Self: Need a better helmet. Oh, and Thanks ICE for making life in Public in a Helmet SO much more stressful.

Things going on? Well upgrades here and there - One is a terrible tinkerer, and studying Agentic AI - One would like a modular structure to swap components in and out of an OS like program (a harken back to NLMs in NetWare). That and Vibe Coding which seems a Lot like thrall driving (except the thrall is an AI).

Stats appear to show One is fantastically popular with a Proxy Server in Vietnam, so That's not fooling anyone and never has.

But to the point of the title here, two seconds with an AI. And remember, this isn't Art, it's machine product, devoid of humanity. And what can art possibly Be without humanity? (See One's future work in "Infinite Malignance" - the blog and other work done by a Malignance Cloned AI.

"Villain in a Brass Helmet"
By Gemini AI

"No features formed, no flesh to see,
A void where visage ought to be.
Yet crowning this hollow, dread design,
A helmet forged in brass malign.

It gleams with dark and polished grace,
A metal shell above the space.
It speaks in echoes, cold and hollow,
Commanding legions forced to follow.

No eyes to meet, no lips to curl,
As shadows take the bleeding world.
The brass reflects the burning lands,
Ruled by the Villain's faceless hands."

Malignopalooza17 is coming up on Colorado Day (August 1st). 17 Years in public Villainy, and That's a fair bit.
