A week before Kick Ass comes out, and people start googling "Kick Ass" and "Real Life Superhero"? Linking the movement to Tothian and Master Legend as both the "Leader" and the "Greatest" respectively? That would be...

but nice post, we should join together and write up a page for those in the world that dont do real research and read anything online and believe it, so that the rlsh that should be made a fool of will be made fools of

Thank you. The purpose served, is the simulation of a "googlebomb". This actually doesn't work, couldn't work, and is just bad science, but it did present a focal point for much attention. That and it started the above mentioned memes, which have paid off in abundance. Where once Master Legend and Tothian were the very best of the superhero movement, they have since been revealed for what they really are.

Embarrassments.

The purpose served is in pointing out that the best of superheroes, when examined honestly, are paranoid, dangerous, delusional, and obsessed w/their own fame. The desire to be linked to the movie Kick-Ass (their website RLSH.net had made a financial agreement to profit from that movie, for their more grubby purposes). It also references the Rolling Stone article that reported on Master Legend. It ties all the superheroes together - "the Greatest", "the Leader" to the two most embarrassing examples.

One is just a humble servant to a greater message. This was a way to communicate that message.
