Beautiful: Bill Nye Patiently Explains the Nature of Science To Fox News
Posted by Michael_Byrne on Thursday, Jul 28, 2011
So, we’ve found a new complex of volcanoes on the Moon and Bill Nye was on Fox News to talk about them. At the very beginning of the clip below, the anchor interrupts to try and make some point about how there’s no fossil fuel burning on the Moon but there are volcanoes, so. . . climate change is wrong? The look Bill Nye makes is priceless, but dig when he goes on to very calmly explain that “science is true.”
I have to borrow this comment on the linked Media Matters post above: “Having a scientist on Fox News is like the Flat Earth Society having an astronaut as a guest speaker.”
