10 Surprising Superheroes Who are Murderers

With the exception of some hardcore heroes, such as the Punisher and Wolverine, it is generally accepted that superheroes don’t kill. It is the moral high ground for them, allowing them to beat the crap out of evildoers while still remaining characters that we can look up to. It is common to see some crippling blows being thrown by guys like Superman, but it’s okay because his punches are just about as effective as guns are in G.I. Joe. They’ll slow somebody down, but you really don’t ever see any permanent damage. That’s why it comes as such a surprise that these big name heroes, known for being embodiments of truth, justice, and the American way, have all taken a life at some point during their crime fighting careers.

It's probably always been the case. Eventually, superheroes go to far, because they care too much! Because only they can see the problems that only they can solve. And if someone gets hurt? Well, that's what they get for interfering with superhero justice.
