Perspective

Shameless Screen Grab of "Tatoo" courtesy of XKCD

This is just such a good cartoon. One likes to try and find meanings in things - connections, relations, dependencies, how things interact and are interconnected. If you've followed for some time, you can see that sometimes this causes problems, but what One gains is so much more. The world really IS interconnected, and not by people or language as such. It is a kind of Music. It is Math, but math alone is inadequate. There is improvisation and tempo and passion and excitement to everything. There is a life to learning, and learning is everything that makes up who you are, who you may ever be.

This cartoon speaks to so many different things. The single black backed frame is profound. One can't get the cartoon out of my head - in a good way. And there is sadness here, and hope, and defiance, and love. It's human. It's facing death with humor and it's brave and caring. There could be a female perspective here, and One can't see that, but there appears to be a perspective addressed by the character. It also speaks to relativism - that we all see the world through our own lens of perspective.
